I am not your traditional photographer! I like to let the "clients" be who they are...kids! I work with the children from a playful approach interacting with them to capture their personality. I try to capture the little things that you love about your children, the way they giggle on the swing, or twirl their hair when deep in thought. These are the little moments which will be so memorable to look back on.
I am a mother of two young boys, therefore I understand that kids will need a break to have a snack or babies need a change. I want it to be a relaxed and fun environment for both the parents and the children. Welcome to my blog!
We are this excited about spring and looking forward to getting outside, but until then we'll have to settle on being inside for another few weeks.
I also wanted to give you a heads up on some EasterSpecial Sessions. If you would like to get pictures of the kiddo's in their Easter dresses, bonnets, suits and ties I will be offering an Easter Special Studio Session on Friday April 10th from 9:30-12:30 for only $25. Call or email for a time slot if you are interested. I will put up an official post soon with more details.
P.S. Yes...Brenden has this much energy ALL the time!
Sorry for my lack of blog posting this week, my computer was in the shop, but I am back up and running and happy to be. This week Miss B came over for her 18 month photos. She was a little under the weather, but we played a little and showed her around the house/studio and then we got to take a few pictures. She is so cute and even helped pick up the toys when she left. Thanks for coming over!

So go ahead and pick your fav, which will be a very hard choice because all the kids are so cute, I want every image hanging on my wall, but I only have enough room for two.

Sometimes when I am editing and working on my computer I need a little mental break so I'll do some online window shopping. Well today I came across the J.Crew wedding site and found these adorable flower girl dresses. Someone who has a girl needs to buy this sweet little dress and then let me photograph them...please!!! How cute, huh?!?
I had to give a little love to Megan. She has helped me in so many ways this past year. She is so patient with the boys, the boys have fun with her and drum roll please....the house is always picked up when I come home.

I wanted to shout out a big THANK YOU to all the families who came to the open house. It was a day filled with fun! :) I also have to thank my husband Derek for his meet and greet skills, he has always been here to support me through the start of this little business and he was right on board for the open house too. I also want to thank Megan, she watches my boys, while I am being a photographer. The boys absolutly love her and so do I :)! So I am just posting a few pictures of the stuido, but don't worry I'll get the rest up soon, so stay tuned.

Here it is...the studio!
If you look close, you'll notice the two frames on the outside have no images in them yet. There is a reason, I decided to have a little vote online. I'll put up images from each mini session from the studio open house, you will all then have the chance to vote for your favorite image. The two images that get the most votes will be framed on either side of Brenden and be my studio poster kids. So make sure to check the blog and put your vote in.
