I am not your traditional photographer! I like to let the "clients" be who they are...kids! I work with the children from a playful approach interacting with them to capture their personality. I try to capture the little things that you love about your children, the way they giggle on the swing, or twirl their hair when deep in thought. These are the little moments which will be so memorable to look back on.

I am a mother of two young boys, therefore I understand that kids will need a break to have a snack or babies need a change. I want it to be a relaxed and fun environment for both the parents and the children. Welcome to my blog!

Its so much fun to watch little ones grow up in front of my lens. I have been photographing this little guy since he was in his mommy's belly. Hard to believe a whole year has gone by. He was seriously perfect for his session. We started outside because FINALLY we had beautiful spring weather. Then we finished up with a cake smashing, which he dominated! Finally his mom and dad had to take the cake away or he literally would have ate the whole cake by the fist full :-)

1. Hockey Puck Soap-How fun are these little hockey puck soaps!?! I thought they were especially appropriate being we are in the middle of Stanley Cup play offs. Too bad my husband wasn't hit by one of these lovely hockey pucks instead of the real thing, he may not have needed the 5 stitches. Here is a little about the company Maple Creek Soapsworks:

2. Mega French Press- I didn't make that up, it really is called the MEGA French Press. Once you go French Press, you will never go back. It is so delicious! We don't even know how to use a regular, drip coffee machine. So we are always on the search for the perfect coffee press, because the one we had before only makes 4 cups (well 2 Derek size coffee cups) and didn't keep it warm for very long. The MEGA Press however is made of double-walled 18/10 stainless steel, it retains heat four times longer than glass presses. It also is said to deliver a richer, more flavorful brew. I found it on the Dean & Deluca website, which on its own is a serious obsession. :-)

3. Marabelle green dress - Pink Chicken has some or the cutest girls summer dresses and diaper covers. I do have to apologize for all you out there with just boys, I have been posting mostly girls gear. I'll do my best next week to find some cute boys wear!!! Any who...when I came across the Pink Chicken website I was excited to find out their flagship store is in Amagansette, NY which is where I spent part of a summer when I nannied for a fabulous family. I think I will get a few of the diaper covers to keep in the studio...I can't wait to photograph a baby girl in one.

Little A brought her family over for some 6 month pics. She has grown up so quickly, and I am positive she could be the next Baby Gap model or the future face for Gerber! She is beautiful! It was such fun to have them over.

The last session we did E and I had such a blast playing with my camera, so this time she brought hers too. I think I'll be hiring her as my assistant. :-)

It seems like just yesterday I photographed A's mommy and Daddy's wedding, but more than a year has past and they have gone from newly weds to parents. She was shy at first, but after some playing and lots of help from mom and dad we got some smiles from her. Along with little Miss A came a really cute bag full of clothes...I would love to see her entire closet! :-)

This little cutie pie came to visit me and she was as sweet as can be. She also brought along her mom and dad and a pink polka dot suitcase full of REALLY cute girl clothes. Just so you all know, I love it when parents bring lots of clothing choices, its fun for me too!! Thanks again V and family for taking the time and making the drive up here. :-)

1 Whole Year Old!!!

On December the 12th this little sweet girl will be one. She has already accomplished so much in one year of life, she can walk, crawl, and understand and almost speak TWO languages! :-) She came along with her mom and grandma and we had such a great time changing outfits, playing with all the fun new toys her grandma brought and eating cake of course!
