There were so many great images to choose from, I had the hardest time narrowing them down for a blog post. ;-)

We have been planning this session for almost a month now, and of course when the day comes it is one of those stormy, cloudy, yucky days. We contemplated about rescheduling, but decided...lets just do it! Well lucky us it turned out to be a beautiful evening w/ sun! Little E was a ball of energy and I loved it!!! I also loved her dress, I mean seriously I am so jealous I can not dress my boys in clothes like that. ha ha Thanks again L family it was such fun! Enjoy your sneak peek!

I met the J family (who I know you'll recognize, they are familiar faces on the blog) at Doty Island Park and it was the perfect evening for pictures. The girls had just woke up from naps and were ready to work it for the camera. Aren't they the cutest! I think the boys are already lined up at their door. :)

The Fine Art of the Loose Grip
Today's message at church was so powerful I just felt I had to share it. Pastor Harry spoke about learning to hold on to things in our lives with a loose grip. It seems in today's world we are all so frantic in trying to cram as much into a day (which I am TOTALLY guilty of doing). This is where we need to learn the fine art of a the loose grip. Let go a little and instead give the things we have been given, the agenda's of the day and our lives to God because he can handle them. We do have Hope!!! So tomorrow is a new day...

Studio Fun
Usually I bribe my children to come into my studio so I can take pictures of them, but this week Macs was sleeping and Brenden said, "Mom will you take some pictures of me?". Now how can I pass that up? Unfortunately its summer and he just had shorts w/ no shirt, but I take what I can get and I didn't want to loose my window of opportunity with a wordrobe consultation.
